ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

Key Exercises and Tips learned from an effective, evidence-based pain psychology treatment.  This is different from CBT or “cognitive restructuring.” Changing maladaptive, difficult thoughts and pain sensations can seem nearly impossible, but being able to function and live a healthy life with pain is possible.  I will correlate this to Mindfulness ideas and provide real time exercises.
